Acne is a skin condition on the skin, with inflation and the accumulation of bacteria, resulting from blockage of pilo sebaceous orifice, through which the secretion, predominantly in individuals with oily skin. The emergence and evolution of acnéicas is influenced by several factors: endocrine, infectious, allergic, gastrointestinal, nutritional, metabolic. It affects the regions most oily skin (face, back and neck and back).
Clinically, acne is characterized by comedones, papules, pustules, cysts, abscesses, and scars on the face, shoulders, upper chest regions.
The pathological development applies to the development of four key functions: sebaceous hypersecretion, change the chemical composition of sebum secretion, sebaceous hair follicles the colonization by bacteria and obstruction of the sebaceous hair follicles due to abnormal keratinization. Important to note that the only Grade 1 is likely to be treated by a beautician, which consists of cleaning and disinfecting the skin, removing the sebum trapped in the sebaceous hair follicles, normalizing secretion.
Injuries at this stage is called comedones (open to closed) and milium (elevation formed by keratin accumulation).
The beautician has an indispensable role to be played at various levels, from the choice of products, effective techniques, and indications of treatment, which serves to reassure your client, because the treatment period is long and requires patience and ability.
TIPS
People with acne have a greater need for sun protection than normal. The sun is false enemy, it improves momentarily, the longer the exposure, the greater the reaction acnéicas later. The sun protection is therefore an important element in the sun.

SUN initially seems to reduce acne, due to dry skin. Actually, the SOL worsens acne because it causes a decrease in defense of skin dryness and irritation, which increase the pore blockage.
