Facial aging is manifested by a series of skin changes, as atrophy of the dermis, decrease in facial fat atrophy of bones face, destruction of elastic fibers and collagen and gravity. The sum of all these changes produces wrinkles, facial furrows and sagging skin. From the 30 years begin to show signs of aging. 

The face is divided into three parts: upper, middle and bottom. SURGICAL PROCEDURE
The types of anesthesia used are: local with sedation or general anesthesia. The surgery usually lasts 3-6 hours. POSTOPERATIVE
Duration of results: permanent, but can be changed if the patient have weight gain.

The patient must be well targeted on the care, the bloating and altered sensitivity of the facial skin after surgery. After the first three weeks, there is a decrease in swelling and improves the appearance of the face. 

Complications that can occur: hematoma (which is the accumulation of clots blood) is the most common infection, opening some points, changes in sensitivity of the facial skin, nerve damage and paralysis of a portion of the face and alopecia (which is the hair loss in the area around the scar).
